STeP Exploration methods are ideal for "Green Field" - "Brown Field" development, as well as "Mature Blocks" where 80% of the oil or gas may be remaining.
Various Independent Methods (only several are shown) are superimposed and analyzed in view of all of the disciplines and the region’s geology.

The result is a powerful collection of conclusions of the independent processing methods that were used and the interpretation of the areas with their contours that are the most prospective. The report is accompanied by a collection of GIS-compatible shape/MPK files and maps in graphical format with Prospective structures and anomalies contours map (-s) in 2D or surface pseudo 3D for STeP Express with a Scale: 1:300,000 up to 1:100,000, depending on the territory size.

Where a typical Full STeP study report consists of many sub-studies and corresponding maps, the final result integrates all of the studies and provides:

  • Structure contour maps at a scale of 1:2,000 - 5, 000 - 10, 000 (dependent on the target size).
  • The depth of each delineated structure (this result is presented in a form of a cross section).
  • Coordinates of exploratory drilling location(s) for each structure.
  • A hierarchical ranking of the prospectivity for each delineated structure.
